Once more caught late in the afternoon without much of a dinner plan and no desire to run to the grocery, I came up with a quick do-able option for the Thursday evening meal: bacon and shallot puff pastry pizza, with a barbecue sauce base, with a mix of cheddar and mozzarella cheeses. Suitably speedy and perfectly delicious, it made for supper sufficiency that evening.
