For the final Thursday of 2022, soup was once again on my mind, and for the five of us at the supper table that night it was steaming bacon cheeseburger soup that was ladled into our waiting bowls. I still need to get this recipe to thicken up a bit more but there was no skimpiness to the flavor.
I'd prepped a dessert to finish us off as well: Atlantic Beach pie, this time made with the abundant Meyer lemons from the pantry, to quite excellent effect, I might add.
