Braided Lemon Bread

Friend, colleague, and former grad student Bradley Phillis most kindly allocated time for a visit on his whirlwind holiday travels to see family here in North Carolina. 'Twas a special occasion and deserving of a quick repeat of the braided lemon bread that I so recently attempted. Plus, the current guests of the household pretty much demanded it anyway, so we all got the winning lottery ticket for the final Friday morning of 2022. I mixed up the dough, let it rise, rolled it out, cut it according to the King Arthur instructions, filled it with the sweetened cream cheese and homemade lemon curd, braided it...and tucked it away overnight to finish rising and then bake on Friday morning. Once more we considered this a winner, although I'd be happy to figure out how to get a bit more filling into it.
