With each of my journeys out for sessions in schools with the administrative leadership masters students studying at High Point University, I like the idea of taking along some sweet somethings from the Roediger House kitchen. I don't always get it done, of course, but last Sunday night I whipped up a batch of chai-spiced sugar cookies to take with me to an elementary school in Mooresville. I had to do a bit of doctoring of them before I could properly scoop them onto cookie sheets for baking, and it toyed a tad with their consistency, but overall I think they still turned out tasty.
