After a wonderfully gorgeous day to finish out the week this past Friday, I set my sights on a hearty new recipe for the evening meal, ultimately concluding that a fresh slow-simmered pot of bolognese sauce to dress a plate of pasta would be the right call. And it was! With the rare appearance of pappardelle as its bed, this beef and pork and tomato and wine combination, well-seasoned and suitably herbed, was a bowlful of goodness. A bit of grated parmesan to crown its glory, the dinner delighted and the food fulfilled.
