As Covid recovery proceeded reasonably well through this week, it seemed soup was the right call again at Thursday's suppertime. So I made a hearty, overly-thickened cheddar potato version last night, and it was most satisfying. Having largely lost my taste, it did feel like a crapshoot getting the seasonings right...but it crossed the finish line as a winning effort.
