Oh my, what a superior version of ultimate cream of tomato soup the table was graced with last Friday night! All the elements came together in fine fashion to result in the perfect balance of flavors, a nice trade-off between thick and creamy, and a perfect compliment to those griddled sandwiches stuffed with two kinds of American cheese. A container was shared with neighbors down the street, along with a plate of the chocolate chip cookies made earlier in the day...but a second container was definitely saved in keen anticipation of some excellent future leftovers.
