Among all the fresh fruit I bought to have on hand for houseguests during the last week of March, I had a fair share of nicely-sized blueberries begging to find a home in scratchmade blueberry muffins.
With plenty of pimento cheese remaining as well, I went ahead and made a fresh batch of pimento cheese sausage balls. It was more than sufficient for a mid-day breakfast on Sunday before heading out to take advantage of the sunshine for various yard endeavors.
And look at this fine first use of the muffins carrier gifted by Donna during last week's delightful visit:
"Perfect Blueberry Muffins," from Sue Moran of The View from Great Island. [Published 13 July 2021]
"Pimento Cheese Sausage Balls," by Kate Robertson Parrish of the ScratchMade Southern blog. [Published 20 March 2019]
"South Carolina-Style Pimento Cheese." Recipe worked out by me, based on Sharon's Palmetto Pimento Cheese.
