Having knocked out the day's meal at lunchtime on Tuesday, it left me ready for more kitchen exploits of a sweeter design. It'd been a while since I made the butter toffee cookies, so that's what I went with when other people were probably making their suppers. I'd love for them to have spread out a bit more but they were still delicious. I was glad both to share them and to save a few.
"Butter Toffee Cookies," originally from King Arthur Flour. The catalog that comes periodically from KAF has recipes in it, which is where I first snagged it. But, as sometimes happens, it is no longer available on their website. I'm glad someone posted it to Food.com.
