I can't say I'm exactly wild about banana bread but I do appreciate when I get ahold of a good loaf or slice of it. While I've enjoyed trying my hand at replicating the version I enjoy occasionally at Starbucks, the former neighbors down the street were generous with their own batches of it and also were kind enough to pass on the recipe...when they moved away! I put it to the test the final weekend of March, to terrific effect: it was quite good.
