A week ago today, I had some bacon that needed to be fried up so I went with bacon cheese sandwiches for dinner that night, along with a couple of fried eggs. Breakfast for dinner is a welcome treat, from time to time, but bacon is a treat anytime.
That Sunday saw the mercury rise just a bit but it remained pretty chilly to me, making a fire seem like a brilliant idea. This was Fire No. 77 since the woodburning fireplace was first used in the "new" kitchen.
