Last Tuesday involved a shifted plan, following Monday's long power outage and the corresponding clean-out of the refrigerator. What resulted was a meal of bacon, fried egg, and cheese sandwiches, to use up some of the recent purchases that I felt stood up best to the elevated fridge temps. It was the sad goodbye to the final two homemade burger buns, too. It hit the spot mid-day, before I made that grocery run to resupply tossed goods, timed to avoid the continuing pattern of showers and storms.
