When dear friends Ebbie and Donna visited at the end of March, they brought generous gifts to the household. I saved out a bottle of Guinness Foreign Extra Stout from amongst the libations Ebbie brought so that I could put it to special use in a chocolate stout cake. That was made last Monday night and served for dessert on Tuesday. Once more, the chocolate-y glory of it put smiles on faces of those on the receiving end. The last time I made this? When Ebbie brought Guinness on her visit back in 2018! I reckon she just needs to visit more often.
