Tuesday May 24th: a long stretch of cold rain ended that morning and left us with chilly overcast skies. After the warm days we've had, this felt like winter to me. Upside-down skillet chicken pot pie with a biscuit crust was the essential dinner late that afternoon, and it was pretty darned good.
