On the first day of December, it proved almost to be a pleasant day, weather-wise. The early afternoon offered a chance for Sumner to walk me nearly 6.5 miles. Quite an appetite followed, and I was ready to indulge in a sizable supper. A delicious hoisin-glazed pork tenderloin was the centerpiece. Roasted spiced potatoes and garlicky whole French green beans occupied large spaces on the dinner platter. A platter, I might add, that was perfectly clean at meal's end.
