The cookie-making streak persists as we move rapidly through the fall and into the holiday season. On Veterans Day, I took time mid-day to bake up a new batch of the remarkable cinnamon-chai oatmeal cookies. With a glass of cold whole milk, it was easy to down three of 'em before I even stopped to consider the ramifications.
One plate of those delicious cookies went home with Mr. Michael Preston, who came by that afternoon to tune the piano in the south parlour:
