Meal No. 3494: Baked Split Chicken Breasts

Thursday saw the arrival of the latest marvelous guest to the Roediger House. Beth made the drive from Oklahoma and brought with her all the brightness and joy that follows her everywhere, setting up an extended weekend visit that began with animated rich conversation late afternoon, tipping over into dinnertime...at which time we had seasoned baked split chicken breasts, roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted cumin-coriander cauliflower, and generous dollops of Alabama great white sauce.

Our plates were deliciously adorned while the table was blessed with her presence. And that food came out in such a state that seconds were happily and eagerly sought!
