Only after I'd already gotten started making it did I realize I had turned to the wrong eggnog fudge recipe in my binder. But I forged ahead Tuesday night and ended up with 25 squares of slightly-grainy old-fashioned-style homemade eggnog fudge, just before the holidays got away from me. I definitely prefer the version I made last year for the first time, from King Arthur Baking; this strange version proved inedible!
