The long bike ride last Thursday and the reasonable and early dinner seemed to grant license for a kitchen confection, and I thought I'd give Ina Garten's super-sweet lemon bars a try. Oh my, they are good, and it's hard to limit oneself with them, so I made sure to give away a fair amount of 'em so they would not be such a damnable temptation.
