This past week was a small return to work for me following the holidays, with an hour-long online virtual session last Wednesday and an all-day masked in-person session Thursday on the campus of High Point University. The Roediger House then was the overnight stopping point in the wee hours Wednesday night, including a huge U-Haul and the supporting players helping with a home relocation to Charlotte, involving guests who are not always clear about their plans or their needs. So we just try to graciously roll with it.
For Friday night's dinner, we had lasagna along with cheesy garlic bread.
I also made homemade Thousand Island dressing for our garden sald, plus homemade croutons. We cleaned our plates pretty well, I'd say, but still left a bit of room for dessert...to be featured in tomorrow's blog post.
