Dateline: Wed 29 July. Wednesday nights are for hanging out with longtime compatriot Amy, but as July was ending the City had a catastrophic water main break that left us without water most of the day. That squeezed the meal prep window once service was restored and I figured out how it could happen even if the water was still scarce: Madeira mushrooms and Swiss cheese on grilled juicy burgers. With chips, of course!
