There were two perfect burger buns remaining from the get-together a week ago Saturday, so I pulled out the creamy lime sauce, fried up some bacon, piled on thin slices of deli turkey, and topped and bottomed it all with Swiss cheese. A good 10-minute bake in the oven and these turkey-bacon melts were ready to really show off how good those buns were. Oh: and I took advantage of the gorgeous afternoon, plus my handy Bluetooth speaker for some rollicking tunes, to enjoy frying that bacon outside.
