It was a bit of a rush job last Friday as I tackled the worthy goal of creating a dessert without having properly planned for it. To the rescue in this fraught moment was Meyer lemon pudding cake, a heavenly beast with an angelic appeal and a divine reward nestled on each heaping spoonful.
You might say we were enraptured.
