Meal No. 4128: Emeril's Skillet Beef Stroganoff

Dateline: Sat 13 June. ‘Twas another hot late spring Saturday, as we trudged through a dry heatwave in the run-up to mid-June. As I sorted through ideas for another delightful dinner that night, I defaulted to a grandly doable menu: Emeril’s skillet beef stroganoff. Well-seasoned with Emeril’s Essence spice mix, this combination of ground beef, onion, mushroom, wine, and beef consomme, served over wide egg noodles, and adorned with fresh shreds of sharp white cheddar plus some shakes of parsley regularly fits the bill for getting folks fed and satisfied.
