Monday a week ago was a welcome return to the simple and delicious chai-spiced snickerdoodle skillet cookie, as a stand-in for dessert that night. I'd spent so much time out on the driveway shoveling that I took the easy way out, not only with the dinner plan but also for the sweet treat to follow. This dependable recipe comes out terrific every time and the slices of cookie generally receive rave reviews from guests.
