Sunday marked the return to Eastern Standard Time, and my 4:30 a.m. rising probably accounts for why the major meal had to occur mid-day. It was a tasty affair, by the way: beef and broccoli puff pastry turnovers with homemade garlic cooking creme and roasted broccoli and cauliflower. A fitting filling of the belly on a mixed weather day, alternating between rain and spotty sunshine. It left the evening free for small tasks and chores, but on a more relaxed pace.
