Meal No. 457: Peanut Butter Bacon Burgers

It's been a long enough time since I dove into this ridiculous creation, inspired by Yo Mama's burgers in the French Quarter in New Orleans.

Long time to wait for something this good, and tonight was among the best they've been: homemade peanut butter on butter-toasted sesame buns, with homemade burger sauce, home-ground burgers, fresh-cooked bacon, and muenster cheese. There is no need for any other sides by the time this burger is on the plate.

These burgers have been on my mind a bit lately; it just took me a while to get around to making them.

The last time prior to tonight that I made these was for Meal No. 335 back in August, and before that it was for Meal No. 254, when Byron Hoover was here for a visit. This is their sixth appearance at the RoHo!

Here's the break-down of how these are usually made: Meal No. 234.

And here's a photographic up-close guide to the typical peanut butter bacon burger at the Roediger House. Just click on the picture in that blog post to see a larger version of it.

Also: I would like it very much if any of my readers will comment on this one...does this look good? Would you eat it (or eat it again, if you've partaken)? Do you reject the very thought of it? Enquiring minds want to know.
