Last Saturday's delightful movie night gathering of the crew ended with an overwhelming dessert that left several plates with unfinished remnants: death by chocolate cake. This three-layer monstrosity is fully chocolated, well-frosted, moist and dense, towering in its possibilities...and a bit of a challenge even when I try to slice somewhat thinly each portion to dole out. Still, there were takers when to-go boxes were offered, so it must not have been all bad.
