With three of us hanging last Friday night to finally watch the Deadpool & Wolverine movie after supper, I still wanted to have some kind of dessert available—and one that didn't require me to delay the start of the movie for the effort required of creating something. A glazed lemon yogurt cake from the always-dependable Ina Garten was just the right call, with its sweet tang and moist crumb, and who doesn't want that extra sweetness oozed all over the outside of each slice?!
The next day was a sunny Saturday, well-suited to finally finish getting most of the leaves to the curb. It was an extra challenge, given the weighted effect of the rain that had come a couple of days ago. But at least I got the delivery that should help me be better prepared for the second Trump administration:
"Lemon Yogurt Cake," from Ina Garten, the Barefoot Contessa. Originally published in Barefoot Contessa at Home, Clarkson Potter/Publishers, 2006. [Recipe printed from the Food Network 21 January 2016]
