Friday's supper had to be quick, thanks to all the other things that day contained. It was a good reason to let my scramble for ideas lead me into a new dish: creamy Italian sausage penne pasta. With spinach mixed in, and parmesan cheese as well, the warm goodness pleased our three appetites that night and also left room for a ridiculous dessert...to be described in tomorrow's blog post!
It was hot and humid to finish out the week, and I was too lazy to cut the grass. Sumner appreciated its lushness for his morning sit, but it also helped me spot the early blooms of the astra blue balloon flower.
