Meal No. 233: Grilled Sashimi Tuna Steaks

It is not uncommon for me to stumble across a good meal, and then to want to make it again just as soon as possible. That's what happened to me with that delicious meal of grilled tuna just last weekend. I was more than ready to have it again, and a visit to the Roediger House by a college and dorm chum and good friend was an excellent occasion to do so.

This tuna gets a good coating of a red wine and rosemary dijon vinaigrette for the grilling, and then that same vinaigrette is a tasty topping for the finished tuna and for the quinoa alongside. Some fat asparagus bought today at the Harris Teeter came out just right from the steamer.

All this was an excellent prelude to slipping around the corner to Foothills Brewing, where we went and watched the UNC Tar Heels exercise firm control over the season's final game, handling Duke with relative ease in a pitched battle for sole possession of the Atlantic Coast Conference regular season championship.

That would be UNC 81, Duke 67.
