Key Lime Pie Bars

The happy occasion of a full dinner table Sunday a week ago ended on a pleasant sweet note with squares of key lime pie bars. This is a newer addition to the dessert stable, but a welcome find. I prefer a Biscoff cookie crust instead of graham crackers, and the filling has an enticing lime punch. A decent top layer of stabilized sweetened whipped cream tames the tang. Those squares were not spared from the ferocious forks that attacked them.
