I've spent the last two days up in Mount Airy, North Carolina, home of Andy Griffith and town on which the fictional Mayberry is based. The Mount Airy City Schools' leadership retreat was the last two days and I got to claim just about the entire time with them to look at issues of instructional leadership. It was a fantastic time with a great group of people.
I was a bit tuckered by the time I got done Friday afternoon, and I kept it simple for the evening meal: Emeril's skillet beef stroganoff. I usually make it with egg noodles, but the elbow macaroni was every bit as good.
