Meal No. 1668: Grilled Cheese & Bacon on Rustic Sourdough
Who doesn't love grilled cheese sandwiches? Throw in some bacon and some rustic sourdough bread, and surely you've got a winner. That was the choice on Halloween Night, when I figured a bit of muenster cheese would be an appropriate element of that evening's simple supper, while waiting for the Trick-Or-Treaters who never came.
While I do really enjoy this kind of treat, the blog tells me I've only made souped-up grilled cheese sandwiches a couple of times: Double Gloucester and Stilton with bacon for Meal No. 885; and Adult Grilled Cheese, for Meal No. 1431.
