First of all, let me note that today marks the 11th anniversary of my purchase of the Roediger House. Time flies when the house you live in is pretty amazing.
Eleven years it's taken me to get moving on some of the significant renovation work that is needed, and that includes refinishing the rough floors upstairs. Ricky and Nubee Sneed with Clemmons Flooring, LLC, have been on the job and things are looking great. You may remember that they started on the house by refinishing the massive front doors, as seen in this blog post.
For the upstairs hallway, here's a "before" shot, meaning not just the floors but also before any plaster restoration work was done:
