When Amy comes for dinner, I sure don't want to let her down by failing at the dessert challenge. She's also so very easy to get along with and that means I get to try out and experiment, which is what happened on the final Wednesday night of June. While it was a bonus that she filmed her Instagram reel wearing a UNC Tar Heels shirt, Zee the Introvert sold me on peach butter swim biscuits: easy to put together, and so satisfying to consume. I'd saved a couple of containers of the dense New England-style vanilla ice cream to go with it. You shoulda been here.
