Meal No. 2584: Spaghetti with Homemade Meat Sauce
The Saturday night meal at the Roediger House was warm and comforting, even as the daytime outside was negatively impacted by our weird polar vortex phenomenon that weekend: sunny and bright but low 50s and constantly breezy, a wind that cuts right through you and that kept me from trying to do any outside work. So what was that meal? The easy-peasy and hardly-ever-make-it spaghetti with meat sauce. I figured I'd do the sauce from scratch but used Adam and Joanne Gallagher's recipe site to guide me. For a dish as simple as spaghetti, it was all pretty darned good.
