Meal No. 1944: Hamburger Supreme
It always seems a shame when I repeat a meal too soon, especially when it's one that shows up so often on the Roediger House menu...but it was a short weekend at home and I had to turn around and drive back up to Virginia this past Sunday afternoon. For lunch, it was a faithful much-loved easy-to-prepare standby: hamburger supreme, with hot buttered corn and the last of my homemade applesauce.
"Hamburger Supreme," from the late Mrs. John T. (Glynn) Johnson of Buies Creek, North Carolina, via Janice Jones Bodenhamer.
