The Friday night meal at the beginning of Memorial Day Weekend was yet another new recipe from the latest issue of Cook's Country. This time, I wanted to try out their take on sweet-and-sour chicken, which is a dish I don't think I've ever attempted before.
I must say: it was pretty darned delicious. Messy as heck to make, with a tremendous amount of clean-up, even though it doesn't actually take that long to make. I was ready to cast this one aside, just from what's involved in putting it together. But eating it makes me want to bring it back again soon.
