
The waiting mode continues, and I take no small measure of comfort from being in the kitchen and making things for others to come and share at table. Although it was only about two weeks ago, I was ready for the comfort and pleasure of another round of Moravian Chicken Pie. And once again, it was pretty darned good.
I'm not sure I ever remember baking sweet potatoes before, but I had to have them with this meal tonight. Pretty good, but the butter and cinnamon and sugar certainly helped.
