In the new kitchen area, the eating nook is nestled in a floor-to-ceiling bay that mirrors other bays in the original part of the house. I love the great light that comes in through all those windows. Some of that light comes in through a glass patio door between this eating bay and the new fireplace.
So, the plan was for that lock to be the same as the other two exterior doors in the house. Unfortunately, Peter LaRoque (the General Contractor) keyed it using the copy of the house key that I had made at Lowe's, and the result is not an exact match for the other exterior door keys. The only key that fits it is the one used for the keying.
Now, if you were the General Contractor, would you have left it that way, or would you have gotten that lock keyed to match ALL the other exterior door keys? Hmmm...
