Blemished Ceiling Above the Fireplace

Now that there have been four instances of leaks with the chimney (well, four that were serious enough that they dripped all the way down through the attic, from the roofline, through the insulation, and down past the drywall in the ceiling), it means that the water damage is pretty visible where the ceiling meets the brick of the chimney. So here are a couple of shots of that.





I'll be counting on my general contractor (Peter LaRoque of LaRoque Construction in Mocksville, NC) to take care of this. But he'll have to first stop the leaking, which he has not yet managed to do.
