Meal No. 55 & The Second Fire

As of this writing, the temps outside are hovering around 20 degrees, and the wind has continued although it's not blustery like it had been in the daylight hours. This winter chill begged for having a second go at a fire in the new fireplace, so here are the shots to make you feel you were here with me.





Last night was a good time for a crew of us to finish watching the 1st season of "Glee" (yes, Glee, which ended up being pretty good). Along with it came the opportunity to whip up a big ol' pot of Vierling Saloon chicken and wild rice soup, which always proves to be a winner. Not sure if you can tell or not, but by the time I got around to remembering to snap a photo, most of the soup was gone.
