Sun 25 Oct. Over 8 hours of sleep in a chilly late fall household had me waking up extra ready for a great day on the final Sunday of October. It set me on a 6-hour swing of travel prep, knowing I had about five hours of driving to look forward to and five nights away from home working in Virginia. That mad rush included one final meal at lunchtime, a speedy return to the skillet beef stroganoff that had been so delicious earlier that week.
