Sat 24 Oct. If I catch the BOGO sale on baby back pork ribs, it’s a temptation that’s tough to ignore. Now that I have a better recipe for oven-roasting a rack, it’s a sealed deal for a delicious pile of tender juicy morsels falling easily off the bone. I prepped a fresh batch of Mexican chipotle barbecue sauce and added a mess of canned green beans alongside. It was just what I needed on a sunny autumn Saturday, when the 3-mile walk felt good and the full moon then rose gloriously over the city. Sumner and I were delighted to be out at the end of the wall as we wrapped up the day before turning in.
