The first day of April was picture-perfect, with warm sunny skies and bright sunshine. There was a cool breeze much of the day, though, that led me to wait until close to 8:30 pm to fire up the grill for this evening's fare: veal T-bone chops with shredded lemon-basil Brussels sprouts and rosemary-thyme fingerling potatoes. You are unlikely to see a repeat of those shredded Brussels sprouts, though. They were a bit yucky.
