All the nice weather of late got interrupted by a particularly rude and menacing cold front, with 25 mph gusts and biting temps that dipped into the 30s by late this past Thursday afternoon. It pretty much compelled me to reach for a warming casserole when neighbor Alaina returned for dinner, so I introduced her to the Jones Family Favorite of hamburger supreme. It is pretty much always served at the RoHo with hot buttered corn and, occasionally, as was the case that night, some homemade applesauce.
