Meal No. 3959: National Sausage Pizza Day

Making only its fourth appearance at the Roediger House on Saturday night a week ago: Detroit-style pizza.

This time, it was in recognition of National Sausage Pizza Day, so I subbed sweet Italian sausage for the more traditional pepperoni. That's not the only ingredient that requires an alternative, because I cannot easily obtain true Wisconsin-style cheddar and have to make do with what is available here. On these limited trials of this marvelous rectangular pie, though, I've not yet been faulted for these alterations.
