Meal No. 3951: Fettuccine Alfredo

Last Monday evening, on my last evening at home before an extended set of travel days, I was drawn to a simple but rare pasta treat: fettuccine alfredo. It's a dish I have long liked but a certain mood is called for in order to select it for an evening's menu. A history of Italian restaurant experiences conditions me to also desire breadsticks with something like this, but I managed to resist that added indulgence.
