While dear UNC friends Margaret and Tathy were here for the Bookmarks Festival, and we had dinner together on Saturday night, I also scrambled to throw together a dessert. Quick enough and certainly up to the taste expectations was a hot fudge chocolate putting cake, with plenty of tempting goop and a siren call for more of it once we'd planted spoons deep into the devilish goodness.
